A power of attorney is a legal document that allows one to appoint a person or organization to handle your affairs while you’re unavailable or unable to do so. In construction this document may be submitted to an owner, so they know who will be able to make decisions on behalf of the company owner in his or her absence or incapacitate. This document is often required from a contractor to a project owner, especially if a non-executive employee will be handling major and financial decisions for it’s business owners.
