A subcontractor list refers to a document often required by a project owner either in the bidding documents, prior to award, or before start of construction. Some project owners (particularly ones who do a significant amount of bidding) will require contractors to submit all subcontractors they intend to use on the project, sometimes even including anticipated subcontract dollar amounts. This form provides the owner with assurance the bid is complete, responsive, and also provides the owner the opportunity to review the subcontractors that will be performing on the project.
